Q: How far in advance should I order my cake?

A: We are often booked many months ahead of time so the sooner the better to reserve your date. We suggest a minimum of four to eight months.

Q: Is there a deposit to reserve my date?

A: Yes, you will need to make a $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your wedding date on our calendar.

Q:What can I expect to pay for a wedding cake?

A: Each cake is one-of-a-kind, but a general guideline of starting prices on cakes per serving is as follows: ($4.00 buttercream designs – $6.00 fondant designs Yes. You may reserve your date with a $50 non-refundable deposit. Final arrangements just need to be made at least 6 weeks prior to your event).

Q: I am not ready to make design decisions yet, but I want to reserve our date so you don’t get booked up, is that possible?

A: Ultimately the price is based on the complexity of design and the number of people being served. Before you arrive for your consultation, it is helpful to have a budget in mind for what you would like to spend on your cake.

Q: Do you offer tastings?

A: Yes, we offer a complimentary one-hour tasting and consultation for you and a guest. Arrangements must be made in advance for more than two, so we are sure to have enough cake for you.

Q: What do we need to bring to our appointment?

A: It is helpful to have made venue, color, and floral decisions prior to our meeting so we have that information available. Additionally, any element from your event that you feel we can draw inspiration from is great to bring. The design process is definitely a collaborative effort and we’ll keep going until you have a design you love.

Q: Can I get a different batter in each tier?

A: Yes, however it can become complicated when serving to your guests. We suggest supplementing your wedding cake with a sweet table so that you can accommodate every guest’s palate.

Q: Can I keep the top tier of my cake for my anniversary?

A: Absolutely! We will provide a box for you to take home. Before putting it into the freezer, we recommend wrapping the box with saran wrap. Another option is for us to provide a fresh cake on your one-year anniversary!

Q: If I want fresh flowers on my cake how can that be arranged?

A: We work directly with your florist to ensure we are using the same varieties of flowers. The client purchases the fresh flowers and the florist arranges them onsite after we deliver your cake.

Q: Should I bring my cake adornments to the bakery?

A: Please let us know what type of cake topper you will be using. Some objects may be too tall or heavy to be supported without special arrangements. After we have seen the cake topper, it should be left at the reception hall. Please bring ribbon or any special decorations to the bakery by the Monday prior to the wedding date. All decorations must be cleaned, assembled, and ready for placement.

Q: Can I rent a stand from your bakery?

A: Yes! The rental fee starts at $25.00 and is non-refundable. A $100 deposit fee is required and will be refunded upon return of the stand. The client is responsible for returning the stand and if it is not returned on time or is damaged, the deposit fee will not be refunded.

Q: What is your delivery area? What do you charge for delivery?

A: We are willing to travel anywhere our cakes can safely be delivered – so please contact us to inquire about a specific location. Delivery and set up fees are calculated based on the complexity of your cake setup and distance of delivery.

Q: Do you deliver wedding cookies?

A: Yes! We will gladly deliver wedding cookies as well as all sweet table items. Delivery and set-up are an additional charge based on the amount and complexity of your dessert table placement.
